Applicants shall have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Public Administration, Political Science, Business Management or related field and a minimum of 2 years experience in local government. FORTY FORT HIRES ADMINISTRATIVE POLICE CHIEF

Borough Council hired Fred Lahovski, Jr. as its administrative police chief on September 6, 2011. Chief Lahovski will begin duty immediately and more information including contact information will be posted on the police page.

Forty Fort needs residents interested in serving on a few boards. There are openings on the Shade Tree Commission, Planning Commission and the Property Maintenance Appeals Board. For more information on a specific board please contact President Joe Chacke at jchacke@fortyfort.org. If interested in serving please submit your information and qualifications to the above email listing which board you would like to be considered for.

 

FORTY FORT HIRES 3 NEW FULL-TIME POLICE OFFICERS

Council hired 3 full-time police officers on the evening of June 6, 2011. The new officers are Adam Michaels, Brian Casella and Peter Lakkis.

Yard Sales in Forty Fort
Forty Fort Borough now requires residents to obtain permits for yard sales. The first 4 yard sales in each year are free of charge, but must be obtained.
